Restoration: Trim…. Love Amber Tiger Oak!

FINALLY! I haven’t been back to the house since the one and only time I visited before we bought it! I went this weekend and started figuring what is salvageable! I started on the front parlor trim. I am SO excited about this! The trim is beautiful underneath all that paint, popcorn, etc. Going to be a big job but a total labor of love! I was afraid that 1) there would be junk wood under the paint and/or 2) the wood would be Faux Bois and would need to be redone. Luckily, neither of these were the case and the oak is stunning underneath with a rich amber.
